International ballooning festival in Armenia

There seems to be no shortage of festivals in Armenia lately. Well, we couldn't stay away from this trend and not organize a unique, fantastic and international festival for you.

And so... From October 13 to 17, 2022 we are organizing "Discover Armenia from the sky" international ballooning festival with the support of the RA Tourism Committee. About 20 balloons from Armenia and abroad will take part in the festival: Brazil, Bulgaria, Germany, Kazakhstan, Poland and Russia.

The festival, in particular, will provide an opportunity to discover the true beauty of Garni and Yerevan from the sky. Why? Because the flights will take place exactly in Garni and Yerevan.

The festival will consist of 2 parts: demonstrative and sport. The demonstration stage includes free balloon flights in the airspace of Garni and Yerevan. During the sport phase, each balloon crew must perform the required task, as a result of which the winners will be chosen.

The goals of festival is:

• to identify the possibilities of adventure tourism of Armenia among the locals and the international community,

• to have such festivals every year,

• to become part of the best festivals organized in the world.

We are pursuing our goal of raising interest and awareness about Armenia, and your participation and interest is important along the way as well.
